The paint is finished with a weathered effect that adds to its charm but you can request to have a more solid finish if you prefer. You can also choose to have the tops and shelves made of oak or pine. The drawers come with a choice of wooden or metal handles, depending on the style you prefer. The Mottisfont dresser bases vary in size and combination of drawer and cupboard units. For example, the painted pine large dresser has four drawers and doors in its base, eight spice drawers in the middle section and four glazed doors above. In contrast, the Mottisfont painted pine fret dresser base is small and compact and has one removable shelf so that you can store larger items in it. You can also get a full sized Mottisfont painted pine fret dresser with two shelves above the base and a delicate fretwork pattern over the top of the dresser.
