Gradually, more open shelving was added to provide storage space for cups, plates and other implements, and the sideboard slowly developed into a substantial piece of furniture. Most people use sideboards today to store crockery, glassware and other tableware. Some of our oak sideboards come with built-in wine racks like the Wealden solid oak medium sideboard, which features two wine racks, a cupboard and a drawer, so if you're a wine connoisseur, this could be the choice for you. The Wealden range is made from FSC certified European oak with dovetailed joints and comes in a choice of three different finishes Ð lacquered, varnished or oiled. As with all Furnishing Homes products, delivery is free on any oak sideboard purchase over £325 and you have seven days to return any product that you are not happy with and are entitled to a full refund.
