A wardrobe is an almost essential item for most bedrooms, and double wardrobes are the most popular size wardrobes. They fit in most bedrooms quite easily, and can provide enough hanging space for one or two people, depending on how many clothes you like to store on hangers. Many of our double wardrobes also come with drawers, either above or below the hanging space.
Our double wardrobes are designed for many different home settings contemporary or traditional. It's really a question of finding a style and size that suits your taste and the other furniture you have in your bedroom. You may want to start afresh with your bedroom furniture, and buy the wardrobe, bed, chest of drawers and bedside tables from one particular range. Many of our double wardrobes belong to one of our signature furniture ranges. The Highworth painted gentleman's wardrobe has two doors and two drawers. There is plenty of hanging space for jackets and trousers, and ample room in the two drawers below for other items of clothing. The Highworth range is painted white with a heavy moulded wooden top, and matching wooden handles. It's a great mix of traditional styling with the modern feel that you get from the painted finish. This fine piece of furniture is hand crafted from high grade solid mahogany which is sourced from managed plantations. The natural beauty of the wood is maintained through the application of a mid-gloss lacquer. There are two cupboard doors with removable inner shelves to provide adjustable hanging space and there are two drawers underneath the hanging section.
